Temporary Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing facility! We are seeking candidates with strong experience in manufacturing who can demonstrate excellent attendance and the ability to work effectively and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity. You will play a crucial role in loading mixers and packaging adhesives, all while working in a supportive environment. Position : Temporary Material Handler (Forklift)

Industry : Manufacturing / Adhesives

Location : Walker, MI

Pay Rate : $24.00

Shift : 2nd 2 : 00pm -10 : 00pm

Job Type : Full-Time

Role Description :

  • Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and transporting the correct quantities to the production area, reporting any deviations, and documenting processes.
  • Operate processing equipment following detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure smooth operations and maintain desired production rates.
  • Perform initial product testing to ensure specifications are met.
  • Check labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Package final products in line with high-quality expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Complete additional duties as requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Required Skills :

  • Packout and general operation support experience.
  • Spirometry testing and forklift experience.
  • Periodically wear a respirator.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  • Experience in an industrial environment (chemical background preferred) with exposure to mixing or batching processes.
  • HSD / GED
