    • Job Summary :

  • As a Superintendent at Amstar, Inc., you will play a key role in overseeing and managing commercial  construction projects from inception to completion.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Oversight : Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.

    • Safety :

  • Enforce and promote a culture of safety on the construction site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.

    • Quality Assurance :

  • Monitor and maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process, conducting regular inspections and quality control checks.

    • Scheduling :

  • Maintain project schedules, coordinate subcontractor activities, and ensure timely project milestones.

    • Communication :

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.

    • Problem Solving :

  • Identify and address construction-related challenges and issues promptly, seeking innovative solutions when necessary.

    • Team Leadership :

  • Lead and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, ensuring that work is performed efficiently and to high standards.

    • Documentation :

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.

    • Regulatory Compliance :

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and permits related to construction activities.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, industrial engineering and / or related field (a plus) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the commercial  construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations (a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Job Order Contracting experience (a plus).
