About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of People to serve as the chief architect and strategic partner for the People function. The successful candidate will be tasked with scaling a high-performance, values-centered culture and building a world-class talent acquisition engine to support the company's aggressive growth. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every system implemented reinforces a culture that champions excellence, speed, and a relentless drive to save time and energy. Key responsibilities include designing and managing a hiring plan, establishing strong recruiting processes, and fostering a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and accountability. The VP of People will also be responsible for scaling compliant, values-aligned systems and processes, including performance management frameworks, and ensuring compliance with labor laws across multi-state and global operations.
To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive results, exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, and a hands-on leadership style. A data-driven mindset and a high level of integrity are essential. Required experience includes a background in scaling People / HR functions in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, particularly in the SaaS industry, and a track record of success in talent acquisition, performance management, and culture initiatives. Experience in EdTech is a plus. The role also demands a leader who can build and maintain people systems, lead a high-performing people operations team, and is adept at using people analytics to guide strategy and decisions.
