Job Title : Senior Civil Designer

Job Description

The Civil Designer will be responsible for preparing site and civil drawings, including grading, utility, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment planning. The role involves working with CAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D to perform detailed project drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed site and civil drawings.

Design grading, utility, and stormwater management plans.

Plan for erosion and sediment control.

Utilize CAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D for project drawings.

Conduct field visits to identify starting points for projects.

Bring projects from concept to completion with a designer's mentality.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D.

Experience in civil design and engineering.

Knowledge of land and site development.

Ability to design stormwater systems and manage water and wastewater projects.

Competence in grading and roadway design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to visualize the bigger picture in project design.

Field experience in identifying project initiation points.

Work Environment

The position involves working with advanced design software in a collaborative environment. Field visits will occasionally be required to assess project sites. The role requires a balance of office work and hands-on fieldwork.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00 / yr.
