As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do : Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the facility and around the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, maintaining awareness of all individuals entering or exiting the location. Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents, following established procedures for government locations. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
