We're looking for a Video Editor who's not just skilled with Adobe Premiere—but obsessed with storytelling, audience retention, and crafting YouTube content that actually performs . Someone who knows how to cut with intention, build emotional momentum, and keep viewers clicking “Next video.”

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos with a focus on storytelling, structure, and retention
  • Craft strong hooks in the first 5 seconds and engaging openings in the first 30 seconds
  • Optimize pacing, transitions, and narrative flow to maximize Watch Time and Average View Duration (AVD)
  • Enhance videos with sound design : music, sound effects, and audio mixing for emotional impact
  • Add light motion graphics (text callouts, transitions) to elevate visual quality
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure every edit aligns with title, thumbnail, and video goal
  • Stay up to date with YouTube trends, formats, and algorithm changes
  • Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedback

  • Don't have YouTube editing experience or examples of your work
  • Aren't fluent in Adobe Premiere (or struggle with creative pacing)
  • Can't take feedback or iterate quickly
  • Aren't familiar with audience retention strategies
  • Don't keep up with what's working in the YouTube space

    • Required :

  • 3+ years of experience editing content for YouTube
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and viewer psychology
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (After Effects & Photoshop a plus)
  • Ability to craft compelling intros and maintain engagement throughout
  • Comfortable with feedback and collaborative editing process
  • Passion for content, creativity, and growth

    • Bonus Points For :

    Interest in AI editing tools and emerging tech

    Experience editing for entrepreneurs, creators, or online educators

    Familiarity with YouTube analytics and making data-driven edits

    A reel that makes us say, “Whoa. Play that again.”

    The Pay : $60,000–$80,000 / year (depending on experience)
