PCB (Substrate) Layout Engineer

Summary : Seeking a PCB Layout Engineer with expertise in PCB substrate design and analysis, specializing in high-density interconnects and advanced packaging techniques.

• Requirements : Experience using Cadence APD+ for PCB layout and High-Density Package Layout Strong background in PCB substrate design and analysis Knowledge of HDI stack-ups, including blind & buried micro-vias Experience with 2.5D devices, interposer or substrate design, flip-chip, surface mount techniques - Experience using a Cadence schematic / netlist driven CAD layout process

Preferred Skills :

High-end FPGA package or board design experience Experience using CAM package for manufacturing data validation (CAM350 & Blueprint preferred) Working knowledge of JEDEC / IPC specifications

Responsibilities :

Perform design, layout, and analysis of electrical and mechanical systems with emphasis on substrate analysis Design high-density interposers, substrates, and printed circuit board layouts Ensure designs match supplier capabilities following Design For Manufacturing rules Provide fabrication drawings to support technical intent transfer to suppliers

Pay Details : $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
