job_description.job_card.job_descriptionQualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field and 2 years of manufacturing design experience. Full term of experience must include : CAD modelling; Machining Manufacturing; Lean principle project implementation; design experience; Microsoft Office; technical writing; measurement; testing; scientific principles of problem solving; fundamental physics; and governing principles background. Must have 1 year of experience in sheet metal and textile Manufacturing. Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) times per week. Location : Richardson TX 40 hours / week Employee Referral Fee : $1500 If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
Responsibilities
Mechanical Design Engineer II for Transnorm Systems Richardson TX
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for technical documentation part definition and support drawing component and system analysis;engineering assistance; writing specifications cost estimation and 3D modeling.
- Generate new CADs and drawings for customer inquiries and new parts.
- Design and develop new ideas of value engineering and component engineering for the purpose of saving costs.
- Technical support for customers.
- Responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts subassemblies and product improvements.
