Join the Sherwin-Williams team as a Customer Service Specialist! In this role, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide solutions with our exceptional products. Your main focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service, addressing any concerns promptly, and ensuring that customer satisfaction is always prioritized.
This position will be based at Store #5078, located at 3924 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321, with opportunities to work at other nearby stores within a 25-mile radius.

- Providing excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assisting customers both in person and over the phone to determine their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Building and maintaining trust with wholesale and retail customers.
- Processing sales transactions accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Aiming to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Maintaining organized work order files and accurate product formulas.
- Fetching products from shelves or the warehouse as required.
- Tinting and mixing products based on customer specifications.
- Stocking shelves and creating appealing displays.
- Cleaning store equipment to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Assisting with deliveries when required.
- Keeping assigned areas well-stocked and presentable.
- Remaining knowledgeable about our product offerings and discussing available options with customers.
- Following inventory control procedures diligently.
- Proactively suggesting improvements to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements :
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English and Spanish.Valid, unrestricted Driver's License required.Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have a satisfactory performance appraisal rating.Must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for your position.Preferred Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED.At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.Previous experience selling paint and related products.Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
