Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Union City, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

• Process high volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas for financial analysis.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Manage expense reimbursement processes using Concur and other financial modules.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation to support audits and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to accounts payable activities.
• Ensure adherence to established procedures and policies in all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and workflows.
• Provide exceptional customer service in handling inquiries and resolving payment issues. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with Concur Expense Reimbursement and financial modules is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation, and expense reporting.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting, typing, and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
