Phlebotomy Technician

  • Location; Janesville, WI
  • Pay Range : $17.57 - $26.36
  • Shift : varible
  • Hours : 32 hours a week

Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00 / hour)

Job Duties :

  • Proficiently collect other samples as indicated including throat swabs, MRSA swabs, urine samples, heel sticks, finger sticks, blood cultures and blood bank specimens.
  • Assure specimen integrity by using aseptic technique and following appropriate procedures.
  • Provides patient instruction in the collection and handling of personally collected specimens.

    • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent peferred.
  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy course and / or previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Experience as a Paramedic, EMT, CNA and / or MA helpful.
