Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Terminal Associate for our Baltimore, MD facility

The basic purpose of the Terminal Associate is to perform and support cement packaging and palletizing operations, to include bagging, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, forklift operation, and organized storage, receipt, loading, and shipping of various pre-packaged & palletized manufactured cement products.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Perform safe unloading off rail cars and trucks using forklift equipment. Maintain organization of warehouse spaces.

Track order receipts and material shipments using CDM software.

Organize warehouse building & floor areas and perimeter grounds, work areas, and service platforms. Perform routine cleaning tasks and material disposals.

Import vessel unloading operational support, Kovako unloader operation, switch piping valves to divert materials flow, possess TWIC certification.

Execute routine and basic equipment inspections, checklists, & repair support, in the package building and warehouse areas

Other facility tasks as assigned, such as property general maintenance, security inspections, facility-wide building & grounds routine maintenance.

HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or GED

Ability to lift 75lbs or more.

Must be able to climb up to 120 feet.

Understanding of basic safety compliance and OSHA rules.

Ability to perform physical routine tasks.

Ability to communicate with others and function in a team setting.

Ability to prioritize and multitask and work independently.

Technical experience in a similar work environment or manufacturing facility is a plus.

Possess a basic understanding of material handling processes and relative equipment
