The Safety Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the company's Safety Program for a designated set of BURG's. This role is considered a subject matter expert with regards to jobsite safety requirements and the associated tools and processes related to planning and executing work.

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Safety Manager for our Columbus, Ohio region. The Safety Manager is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This Safety Manager works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to Craft in Daily Plan Preparation (DPP) and Operational Activity Trainings (OAT) engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage by engaging craft and holding others accountable to influence behavioral change.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.
• Completed multiple safety observations per week.
