Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Senior PeopleSoft Administrator . The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting design / development.The place of performance for this contract is Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible in applying PeopleTools patches & upgrades using delivered Oracle Support DPK software & PeopleSoft Change Assistant.
  • Responsible in applying necessary patches to underlying PeopleSoft technology including Java, WebLogic, Tuxedo on Windows / Linux
  • Responsible in administering PeopleSoft HCM on Oracle Database on Linux
  • Responsible in administering PeopleSoft PeopleTools on Windows Server 2019
  • Responsible in creating / maintaining scripts to start / stop / restart PeopleSoft services on Linux
  • Responsible in configuring and administrating Phire.
  • Responsible in managing and patching Red Hat Linux Enterprise 8.
  • Manage and maintain SSL certificates for production and non-production sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7yrs experience required for following skills : Must be able to apply PeopleTools patches & upgrades using delivered Oracle Support DPK software & PeopleSoft Change Assistant.Must be able to apply necessary patches to underlying PeopleSoft technology including Java, WebLogic, Tuxedo on Windows / LinuxMust have experience administering PeopleSoft HCM on Oracle Database on LinuxMust have experience administering PeopleSoft PeopleTools on Windows Server 2019Must be familiar with applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) packages to the PeopleSoft HCM Application using Change Assistant.Expert at creating / maintaining scripts to start / stop / restart PeopleSoft services on LinuxMust be familiar with configuring and administrating Phire.Must be familiar with Elasticsearch and Opensearch on LinuxMust be able to manage and maintain SSL certificates for production and non-production sites.Experience managing and patching Red Hat Linux Enterprise 8.Experience with AWS Cloud Engineering.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years AWS cloud engineering and Docker containerization
  • PeopleSoft PeopleTools (intermediate)
  • Oracle PeopleSoft HCM (intermediate)
  • PeopleSoft Administration (advanced)
  • PeopleSoft Technical Architecture (advanced)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (advanced)
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight
  • Able to develop strong client relationships.

  • Detail oriented.
