Job Description
Performs diagnostic and quality tests on manufactured or purchased products. Works primarily from standardized methods and process instructions, product prints, written, and verbal instructions and defined workmanship standards. Uses test equipment, tools, and machines, hand and power driven, plus all gauges and fixtures necessary to perform the assigned work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs adjustments and / or measurements of devices under test; may be tasked to test, check, validate parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies used in a downstream process or for use by the end user.
- Troubleshoots products to identify workmanship defects, suspect and / or defective components and assemblies.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work performed.
- Responsible for general housekeeping of designated areas.
- May be required to perform assembly operations and / or pack finished product prior to shipping.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Actions and behaviors must comply with all applicable U.S. export and security regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Certificate in Electronics from reputable trade school or equivalent experience.A sound understanding of basic electronic troubleshooting theory and assembly techniques.Knowledge of the mechanism(s), instrument(s), and / or devices under test and the capability to comprehend the theory of operation.Proficiency in using computers and test equipment.Ability to interpret / interrogate test logs, outputs, schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, analysis sheets, and specifications etc.Ability to effectively and accurately record test / validation outputs in terms of logs, reports, or other means of documentation including Statistical Process Control (SPC).Ability to work independently, as a member of team, and be a significant contributor in continuous improvement activities.Must possess high integrity with regard to EH&S norms and comply with all related federal, state, and company policies.Must have knowledge of basic mathematics and perform routine computations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of material.Ability to safely perform work task physical requirements including but not limited to : Sitting - Upper body held upright in seated position for sustained periods of time.Ability to work at heights up to 25ftStanding - Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.Kneeling - Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.Crouching - Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.Stooping - Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.Climbing - Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like, using feet and legsLifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.Balancing - Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow surfaces.Pulling - Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.Pushing - Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.Carrying objects - Grip and transport objects with the palms, fingers and arms.Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any directionVisual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignedPreferred
Associate Degree in Electronics or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field.
