Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This role requires expertise in operating machinery, specifically band saws, and includes responsibilities such as quality control and forklift operation. Candidates must be familiar with measuring techniques and be able to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws for cutting steel and other materials.
• Use and manage sit-down forklifts effectively.
• Read and accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
• Perform visual quality control checks.
• Ensure processing equipment is well-maintained and in safe condition.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Accurately enter required information into the system.
• Learn and operate aluminum saws for cuts ranging from 4'-20'.

Work Environment

Initially, there is no differential pay for temps, but full-time employees receive shift differentials. Training involves classroom sessions and hands-on experience with experienced trainers. The workplace is located in Auburn, WA, with operations on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25 / hr.
