Senior Field Service Representative
Eaton Engineering Services Division is currently seeking a Senior Field Service Representative for the Maryland and DC regions. In this role you will service our customer's electrical distribution equipment and support the technological advancements in our industry. This role offers company truck, laptop, mobile phone, and all PPE needed to perform the role successfully.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You'll Do :
In this role, you will :
- Support customers across the power system lifecycle : startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies
- Manage small projects independently and lead Eaton teams on larger projects
- Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
- Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners
- Mentor less experienced representatives
- Utilize digital tools such as MS applications, Salesforce, AutoCad, and virtual conferencing

Basic Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or higher with minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or in lieu of HS diploma or GED, completion of accredited trade school and / or program completion with 5 or more years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systemsMust be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the futureNo relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationMust have a valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications :
Associate degree or higher from an accredited institutionJourneyman Electrician licenseNFPA 70E Safety trainingExperience performing troubleshooting on electrical distribution equipmentNIET / NETA or Electrical testing certificationsSkills :
Position Success Criteria :
Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; achieve Eaton Field Certified Level 3 safety qualifications via completion of mentoring tasks, formal training, and skill and knowledge examsUnderstands 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipmentMust have the ability to work variable hours, including nights & weekends, and travel within the district based on customer requirementsProficient with hand and power tools for equipment assemblyStrong problem-solving and logical thinking skillsWorks well under time constraints and in stressful situationsExplain technical problems and solutionsCollaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlinesThis position requires you to drive an Eaton vehiclePerforms physical tasks, requirement to stand, walk, kneel, and reach above and below shoulder level, lift, and regularly required to lift / carry / push / pull up to 40 pounds.
