Summary / Description :
The Data Analyst will provide support in regard to writing, editing, and documentation support for PARM (Program Accountability and Risk Management) communications.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Collect, review, and maintain acquisition and operational performance dataDevelop performance reporting and dashboards, including trend / outlier analysisPresent data in clear, reliable, and visually digestible formatsCoordinate with DHS stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness of metrics and recommend improvementsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Education and Skills :
Bachelors' degree in business administration, or a related field preferredMinimum of five (5) year's experience in data collection, analytics, and reportingAt least five (5) year's experience and a strong understanding of program / project management and performance metrics'Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, visualization, and data analysis toolsMust possess advanced oral and written communication skillsMust have computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience in a government contracting environment preferredStrong organizational and time management skills, as well as confidence in dealing with senior executives and governmental or non-governmental officialsKnowledge and understanding of general financial accounting and cost accounting and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principlesCustomer service : Commitment to developing positive customer relationships; competence in listening, understanding, and resolving customer needs promptlyAnalytical ability : Ability to independently recognize and diagnose problems, exercise judgment in arriving at logical conclusions, and follow-through with timely actionAbility to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines, achieve desired resultsPhysical Demands and Work Environment :
