1) Unit Name : Epstein 2 - Pediatric Psychiatry.

2) Brief Unit Description : Inpatient Program, patients ages 3 to 17 years of age who require inpatient stay receive 24-hour care through our child and adolescent services program. We offer a nurturing and non-coercive environment.

3) Years of Experience Required : 2 years at one location / hospital.

4) Skill Sets Required : Trauma informed, patient-centered, and verbally capable of de-escalating patients.

5) Clinician to Patient Ratio : RN to Patient : 1 to 3.

6) Patient Population : Children ages 4-18.

7) Bed Count : 30.

8) Census : 20-25.

9) EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.

10) Floating Required : Yes, to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU.

11) Rotating Shifts Required : Yes, up to 20% for Day positions. Not required for Night positions.

12) Certifications Required : Current Massachusetts RN License.
