The Education Planner position at Jersey College is a crucial role that provides operational and administrative support to the academic department. This role ensures smooth and efficient educational activities helps achieve academic goals and supports student success.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Manage Educational Activities :

• Oversee and assist with the daily operations of academic activities.
• Track student attendance and academic progress by collecting faculty grades.
• Organize and schedule meetings for students faculty and administration within the Education Department.
• Maintain and update essential academic files including student records and curriculum details.

2. Oversee Student Services :

The Education Planner plays a significant role in ensuring that Jersey Colleges academic operations run smoothly while also promoting student retention satisfaction and success.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies :

Experience : 2-3 years of experience in managing educational or business operations demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Student Information Management : Ability to maintain and accurately report on student records ensuring smooth tracking of student progress and achievement of academic goals.

Student / Customer Service Skills : Strong focus on student support with exceptional customer service skills including active listening and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Interpersonal Skills : An outgoing and approachable style with a genuine passion for supporting students academic success and professional growth.

Communication and Presentation Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences including students faculty and administration.
