Job Description

Job Title : Video Coordinator

Reports To : Head Coach / Director of Scouting / General Manager

Position Type : Full-Time | Coaching & Analytics Staff

Position Overview

The Dallas Bulls are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Video Coordinator to oversee all aspects of video operations, including film capture, breakdown, analysis, and distribution. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the coaching staff and players with game footage, scouting film, and analytical breakdowns to inform strategy, player development, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Film Capture & Breakdown

Record and edit all team practices, games, and workouts using professional-grade video equipment.

Organize and tag video footage to support efficient review by coaches, players, and staff.

Break down film by play type, personnel grouping, and situational context using sport-specific software.

Scouting & Opponent Analysis

Compile and analyze film of opposing teams to support scouting reports and game planning.

Create custom film packages that highlight opponent tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses.

Assist in preparing pre-game and post-game video presentations.

Technology & Software Management

Maintain all video equipment, software, and storage systems to ensure reliability and quality.

Use editing and breakdown tools such as Hudl , XOS Digital , Catapult , SportsCode , or similar.

Manage a digital film library and ensure timely delivery of footage to all relevant parties.

Provide players and coaches with individualized video cutups for review and self-scouting.

Support film sessions and team meetings with organized, high-quality video content.

Assist with video needs during practices and meetings, including live capture and instant playback when needed.

Travel & Game Day Duties

Travel with the team as needed to manage game-day video operations.

Ensure all camera setups and in-game recording systems are functional and reliable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Film, Communications, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in video operations within a collegiate, professional, or elite-level sports environment.

Proficiency in video editing and analysis software (e.g., Hudl, SportsCode, Synergy, DV Sport).

Strong understanding of the game, terminology, and tactical concepts.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Preferred Attributes

Deep passion for sports, coaching, and technology.

Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Experience creating visually engaging presentations for team meetings.

Familiarity with performance data integration and analytics tools a plus.
