About GENDA

GENDA is an entertainment company that aims to build a global entertainment network and increase the ‘total amount of fun’ distributed worldwide. GENDA operates a wide range of businesses in entertainment, including Amusement, Karaoke, Character Merchandising, Food & Beverage, and Content & Promotion (movies, interactive contents, etc.). It operates approximately 800 amusement arcades such as “GiGO” and the karaoke chain “Karaoke BanBan” in Japan and abroad, as well as approximately 8,000 mini-locations (non-staffed gaming corners). It operates in Japan, the United States, mainland China, Taiwan, the UK, the Middle East, and Vietnam.

This person will report to the CRO. This person is responsible for the direction and management of the Mall Channel. This person will be a key contributor in driving the Company’s customer acquisition and revenue goals through management of the company’s Mall Channel.

Location : Louisville, CO or Remote, near major airport

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

  • Overall responsibility of all aspects of the company’s business in the Mall Channel, to include :
  • Ongoing management of each banner and client
  • Point of contact for all Mall National Account Managers
  • Responsible for new sales in channel. Consistently build and deliver on an accurate account pipeline
  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to qualify and penetrate an account and develop a strategy to demonstrate value proposition
  • Create annual sales plan and work with CRO on annual sales budget
  • Develop specific goals, implement and evaluate performance objectives and measures focusing on overall customer satisfaction
  • Travel is required to visit clients and attend relevant trade shows
  • Remote work is acceptable, or in corporate NEN offices in Louisville, CO
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Create and manage your department budget
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Work closely with operations, client services, on executing the strategy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and minimum of five years’ experience working in the Mall industry, channels, and products, with ideal focus in the specialty leasing divisions.
  • Outstanding communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skillset.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment
  • EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • At least five (5) years of direct sales experience in Mall industry, preferable with experience with specialty leasing divisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Highly skilled in developing and constructing effective client facing presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Similar Mac skills acceptable
