Growing Property Management Company seeks hands on energetic entrepreneurial team member to manage development construction projects

Duties will include but are not limited to the following :

Project Management

  • Meet with estimating and business development staff to learn about project.
  • Create completion schedule.
  • Create construction budget to lock in profit.
  • Determine what tools equipment and materials will be required to complete the project and schedule their delivery.
  • Manage self performed work.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage several construction projects at the same time.

Estimating

  • Meeting with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Preparing construction estimates for clients approval.

    • Individual must possess or have the ability to learn the following skills :

  • Strong minded and strong can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to negotiate contracts for the good of the company.
  • Organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or extensive experience as construction project manager or construction estimator.
  • Own vehicle that can be used for business use in exchange for gas reimbursement.

    • Ideal candidate would be someone who has owned a construction contracting company worked for contracting company as a project manager or has been a construction project manager for a commercial contractor.

    Compensation is competitive

    Total compensation package would include a base wage company phone mileage reimbursement and then health benefits and 401k after 90 days
