You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years' Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • 3+ years' experience w / tooling, processes, and facilities
  • 3+ years' CAD experience

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Solid understanding of statistics (control charts, data collecting,
  • Knowledge of the electrical systems in a vehicle
  • Experience with electrical connectors and wire routing
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following Ford software systems : AVBOM, WERS, GSPAS / APT, Teamcenter, AIM, CPARS
  • Experience in one or more of the following : Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Water test, End of Line
  • Error proofing experience
  • Demonstrated product launch experience and issue resolution capability.
  • Strong Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams to develop consensus.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, including CAD design and tooling design.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Prototype design and development experience.
  • Experience working with Tier 1OEM Suppliers and partners
  • Manufacturing experience in general or final assembly
