About The Position

Job Title : Histotechnologist Profession : Histology Tech Specialty : Technologist Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : NOC Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum years of experience required License : License required Certifications : ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) required Must-Have : Microtomy : Expert in cutting paraffin-embedded tissue with precision and consistency. Embedding : Properly orienting and embedding tissue to preserve diagnostic features. Staining : H&E Description : The role requires expertise in histotechnology. Candidates must be skilled in microtomy and embedding. Staining proficiency in H&E is essential. Candidates must possess ASCP certification. The shift includes hours from 10 : 30 pm to 7 : 00 am, Monday through Friday. This position is expected to have approximately 40 hours of work per week. All applicants must have the necessary licenses required for the position. The dress code for the position is scrubs.
