job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide exceptional customer service to guests, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities. Maintain a visible presence within the location to assist customers and help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other prohibited activities. Document and report all incidents, suspicious activities, and / or maintenance concerns in accordance with Allied Universal procedures. Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement as needed to support security-related objectives. Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activities. Follow all site-specific guidelines and maintain professionalism at all times while representing Allied Universal. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
