Description :

The position requires a NICU RN Level III.

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Charge experience is necessary.

The patient ratio is 1 nurse to 3 patients.

Epic experience is required.

Weekends are required; every other weekend.

Certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory.

The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs.

No on-call requirement is present.

Candidates may be required to work with Pediatrics or Postpartum patients.

The daily census in the unit is 12 neonates.

The unit has a total of 24 beds.

The role includes various skills such as administering blood products, managing respiratory distress syndrome, and performing neonatal sepsis workup.

The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in patient and family teaching.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Candidates need to have experience with telemetry monitoring and ventilator management.

Knowledge of neonatal dosage calculations and care for complex conditions is required.
