The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applicants for two Tribal Academy Program Coordinator positions. The Tribal Academy Program Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting tribal students across NSHE institutions by providing weekly holistic guidance and assisting them in navigating their degree pathways. In this role, the Program Coordinator will lead outreach and recruitment efforts to meet the growing need for a professional workforce dedicated to serving Nevada's tribal communities.
The Program Coordinator will monitor and track student progress, gather feedback to enhance the program, and cultivate a vibrant community among tribal learners. The primary objective will be to increase tribal student enrollment, attendance, and retention in higher education. Success in this position means forging strong connections with students, tribal partners, and NSHE campuses to create pathways to long-term academic and career success.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR
Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related Experience :
Experience with indigenous tribal communities in Nevada OR Experience with STEM pipeline programs and / or undergraduate research programs or related
Schedule :
