Machine Operator

We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating bagging machines and supporting equipment. You will read and verify line orders and dockets, understand printing job requirements according to specifications, and ensure the efficient operation of the machines. Your duties will include setting up the bag line by loading film and adjusting for size, mounting cylinders, and adjusting pressure, tension, and ink distribution. You will also troubleshoot stoppages and breakdowns, perform quality checks on produced materials, and complete related documentation, including daily production paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate bagging machines and support equipment.
  • Read and verify line orders / dockets.
  • Understand printing job requirements by specifications.
  • Load film and adjust for size on the bag line.
  • Mount cylinders and adjust pressure, tensions, and ink distribution.
  • Troubleshoot stoppages and breakdowns.
  • Perform quality checks of materials being produced.
  • Complete related documentation, including daily production paperwork.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of machine operating experience.
  • Experience loading and unloading machines.
  • Experience troubleshooting stoppages and breakdowns.
  • Capability of standing for long periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

    Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with opportunities across three shifts : 1st shift (7 AM - 3 PM), 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM), and 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM).

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $15.45 - $15.45 / hr.
