As a Veterinary Oncology Technician at MVA, you will be at the heart of patient care, supporting both pets and their people often during challenging times. Prepare and administer chemotherapy , targeted therapies, and supportive medications following strict safety protocols.
Assist with diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, imaging (radiographs, CT, MRI), and sample collection for cytology or histopathology.
Support the emotional well-being of clients and team members, recognizing the sensitivity and challenges involved in oncology cases.

~ Proficiency in venipuncture , IV catheter placement, sample collection, and anesthesia / monitoring
~ Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools (radiographs, CT, MRI) and laboratory procedures
~ Empathy, resilience, and a team-focused attitude , recognizing the sensitive nature of oncology cases
~ A commitment to lifelong learning , staying up to date on new treatments and best practices in veterinary oncology
