    We are seeking a positive, friendly, and professional Front Desk Representative to provide exceptional service to our performing arts school families and visitors by phone, email, text and in-person. With a golden voice, and shining attitude. Is that you?

    Will treat visitors with warmth, professionalism and competence, working in a fast-paced environment effectively. Will work as part of team, providing administrative support, while reporting to the Executive Director. Must be competent handling details well.

    Hours for this position : Mon - Tues 2 : 00 - 8 : 00, Wed - Thurs 2 : 00 - 9 : 00, Sat 8 : 45-4 : 00. 1 Saturday per month off. May sub Friday 1-7, or Sunday 1 : 15 - 6 : 15 on occasion. ( Mon-Thurs 1 p.m. start may be available). 2 Sundays per year for special events. 1x per year training conference, where travel for 2-3 days may be required.

    Hours may change due to promotion or growth in the company.

    Responsibilities include :

    • Welcome incoming visitors, answer phone, text, and emails - answering questions or route info as appropriate.
    • Book appointments using smart calendar software, and respond to inquiries. Enter info accurately into appropriate system for future use.
    • Keep client and certain school info confidential
    • Provide families and prospective families with an exceptional customer service experience.
    • Support faculty administrative needs, as per training.
    • Oversee basic smooth operation of the space before, during and after class delivery times to keep space orderly and tidy as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with school policies.
    • Special projects for Directors.
    • Help with holiday decor and special programs.
    • Provide Special Event support as required.
    • Report emergencies, and handle if appropriate, as per policies.
    • Qualifications :

    • Experience in Hotel, Restaurant, or high-end Retail Sales industry preferred.
    • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards of service helpful.
    • Ability to sell with honesty, and have excellent in-person customer support skills
    • Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to confidential information.
    • Front Desk Representative must possess excellent communication skills, be very organized, and possess excellent memory and the ability to stay focused on the department priorities.
    • Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
    • Computer literacy : Google Suite, Apple Computers, Calendar online software, Project management software, Canva or Adobe Illustrator, use of virtual software ( Zoom, G-Meet).
    • Keyboard skills 35 wpm+.
    • Able to resolve issues effectively within guidelines provided.
    • Rare : able to lift up to 20 pounds
