As a Data Science Group Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Tysons Corner, VA or Cleveland, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Product Leader to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of data products for PNC bank. You will be responsible for defining and executing a roadmap that leverages data and AI to solve business challenges, enhance customer experience, and create a competitive advantage within the financial services industry.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Deep expertise in data product management, including defining vision, developing roadmaps, and managing the product lifecycle. Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance principles within the financial industry (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR, CCPA). Familiarity with data architecture, data pipelines, analytics tools, and potentially machine learning and AI concepts. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to translate complex data concepts into clear business language and actionable strategies. Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing teams.

Qualifications

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
