Job Summary

The PRN Pharmacy Technician provides as-needed support to the Pharmacy Department, ensuring alignment with the Mission, Vision, Values, and Code of Conduct of College Hospitals. This role is responsible for assisting in the accurate preparation of solutions, filling medication orders, maintaining medication inventory for patient care, and supporting daily pharmacy operations as required. Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

Shift Schedule

Work two weekends per month from 9 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM. Assist with PTO and sick coverage as needed and when available.

Qualifications

• Current AZ Pharmacy Technician License.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in I.V. admixtures, unit dose drug distribution, and computer entry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.

Compensation

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
