Divisional Director

The Divisional Director plays a critical role in recruiting financial advisors to Ameriprise. Working as part of a small team in a defined geographic territory, this position is responsible for moving high-potential financial advisor candidates through the recruiting pipeline.

The ideal candidate brings a dynamic energy and deep understanding of financial advisorstheir motivations, challenges, and aspirations. They possess the ability to build meaningful connections and effectively influence advisors, inspiring them to not only engage with Ameriprise but to envision a long-term future with the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Director on recruiting efforts within an assigned territory.
• Proactively manage your regions talent pipeline by guiding candidates through key stages of the recruiting process.
• Effectively engage your sourcing partners to deliver qualified leads for initial advisor meetings.
• Monitor and confirm contact occurs with each new lead.
• Conduct initial meetings with candidates and be prepared to articulate the Ameriprise value proposition.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and advisor movement.

The estimated base salary for this role is $91,600 - $123,700 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and / or long-term incentives depending on the role.
