Responsibilities
Applies all legal ethical and compliance related regulations to each situation ensuring UnityPoint Trinity policy and procedures are carried out in accordance with above standards.Manages time and prioritizes workload to meet the needs of the organization ensuring patient team members and visitors safety is a top priority.Oversees and manages daily operations of all Environmental Services matters.Assists in evaluating monitoring and action planning to ensure departmental budget complianceManages and monitors the Environmental Services Department payroll / timekeeper programAssists in the management and operation of the linen structured training in-service classes coaching and mentoring support system to EVS Technicians by communicating performance expectations.Maintains required documentation of all training education and certifications.Coordinates with all levels of leadership to assist respond to and support all service lines with items or issues relating to Environmental Services.Oversee internal investigations operations and assist with high level incidents as deemed appropriate by Department Manager.Assists the Environmental Services Manager with Infection Control and Safety monitoring activities.Assists in Infection Control and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisor experience required. Experience in professional cleaning is preferred.
