Job Title : IT Field Engineer

Location : Birmingham, AL (Remote and on-site)

Salary Range : $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Job Type : Full-time

Job Description :

We are an IT services company seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator / Network Field Engineer to support clients in Alabama and surrounding areas. We need a problem solver with extensive knowledge of Windows networking, routing, Group Policy implementation, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory. This role requires proven skills of a tenured Network Engineer and involves traveling to customer sites for break / fix and project work.

Required Skills and Experience :

Active Directory setup and administration
Windows Operating Systems expertise (Server 2012, 12R2, 16, 19, 22; Windows 10 / 11)
Microsoft Exchange Server experience (2010, 2013, 16, 19, M365)
Understanding of firewalls, access lists, NAT, and PAT
Office 365 / Azure services
Virtual server experience with HyperV or VMware
Knowledge of backup software
Solid understanding of routing concepts
