We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This role begins Jan 2, 2026, with orientation, followed by clinical work starting Jan 5, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, focusing on ambulatory hemophilia care.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assess, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients with ambulatory hemophilia and related hematology / oncology conditionsPromote health and disease protection within the designated patient age group as specified by specialty and New York State NP certificationPerform history and physical exams, including pelvic exams when indicatedOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities within specialty scopeImplement therapeutic interventions for appropriate conditionsConduct arterial puncture and blood gas samplingProvide debridement and general care for superficial wounds and perform minor superficial surgical proceduresPerform incision and drainage of superficial abscessesInsert and remove non-weighted nasogastric or oro-gastric tubesComplete Death Certificate ProtocolsRemove central venous cathetersAdhere to all unit and facility policies, including care in intensive care settings as permittedAdditional Information
Current New York NP license requiredMust hold one of the following board certifications : Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC), Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC), or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)Required certifications : ARC-PA, ACLS, BCLSExperience in hematology / oncology and ambulatory hemophilia management strongly preferredNurse Practitioners may not serve as admitting providersBenefits
