About the Role

As a Test Engineer at Whisper Aero, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining test equipment and processes to evaluate electric propulsors and related components. You will own the end-to-end test development process, from initial concept to implementation, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. This position also involves managing external test vendors and providing critical feedback to improve product designs. You’ll thrive in this role if you are hands-on, curious, and eager to innovate in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and build test rigs for electric propulsion systems and components
• Develop and execute test plans, incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams.
• Conduct tests on components and assemblies, ensuring accurate data acquisition and reporting.
• Manage outsourced testing by coordinating with third-party vendors and laboratories.
• Document and present test results, providing recommendations for product and process improvements.
• Collaborate with design teams to offer insights that drive continuous innovation.
