Senior System Administrator

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator in support of the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) Program.

General Summary : The Senior System Administrator shall be responsible IAW Department of Defense Guidelines and Instructions to administer, maintain and secure Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Cisco routing / switching technologies, and virtual servers / machines and security onboard the Sea-Based X-Band Radar platform.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• The Senior System Administrator will work at sea or in port based on operational requirements of the Sea-Based X-Band vessel.
• Administer, maintain and secure Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Cisco routing / switching technologies, and virtual servers / machines.
• Implement DISA STIGs, vulnerability analysis and remediation, and virus scanning.
• Application and administration of operating system patches and software version updates.
• Design and develop backup and systems recovery solutions.
• Develop and test security features to be implemented into control system operating environment.
• Ability to pass a maritime physical is required.
• Ability to travel 75-100%
