Summary :

Support the development qualification and production of mission computing communications navigation surveillance datalink and display avionics.

Manage the technical performance of critical suppliers to ensure proper integration and verification of installed system performance.

Work with new development and off-the-shelf hardware integrated in advanced labs and verified in flight test.

Participate in mission systems development activities including requirements decomposition qualification testing lab and aircraft integration formal verification and production support.

Non-managerial non-leadership role.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders and peers.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Oversee and approve technical approaches products and processes.

Work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements for complex projects.

Lead analysis and translation of requirements into system architecture hardware / software designs and interface specifications.

Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.

Manage performance of critical suppliers to ensure integration and compliance with requirements.

Assign responsibilities to team members and ensure technical accuracy and consistency of deliverables.

Research and apply emerging technologies to support business needs.

Requirements :

Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Engineering Technology Chemistry Physics Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science.

9 years of systems engineering experience (requirements functional decomposition design analysis verification).

9 years of experience with avionics hardware and software development design production and project management.

9 years of experience in process development qualification integration and supplier issue resolution.

9 years of experience with hardware and LRU development testing and qualification.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications :

10 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Experience with advanced cockpit displays (HUD UFCD LAD) and mission systems avionics.

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance strongly preferred.

Prior experience in the defense or aerospace industry.

Experience with commercial and military avionics systems.

Experience managing suppliers and supply chain coordination.

Proposal development experience.
