Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team. As an Applications Engineer, you will be part of the technical team supporting product development and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Applications Engineer

Location : Maplewood, MN

Pay Range : $35 to $48 per hour depending upon experience

Duration : 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Evaluate new sheeting technologies with existing customer applications, improve processes, and support product development.
  • Travel to customer sites (up to 50% of the time), run field trials, and help customers understand and implement company products.
  • Work with teams in manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Create technical literature, prepare reports, presentations, and communicate findings both internally and externally.
  • Train customers and internal teams on the implementation of new technology.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in engineering or a related field or someone right out of college
  • Strong understanding of digital printing technologies and mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelors degree
