The objective of the Projects Coordinator is to support the office and management of Powers. This role is the first contact for customers and vendors and will direct communications to the proper person as well as support the field staff. Day-to-day assignments will vary, and our Project Coordinator must be able to prioritize needs to ensure the office is running smoothly, following company processes, and communicating with the corporate office.

JOBDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Be the initial contact for Customer and Vendors.
  • Receive and coordinate service call requests.
  • Work order management for service team
  • Coordination of shipping for operational staff
  • On-site Inventory reconciliation
  • Billing of customer invoices, quoted time and material.
  • Approve and prepare A / P for home office.
  • Facilitate information for Account Managers, Project Managers, and research, when necessary.
  • Service and construction contract creation billing.
  • Prepare various reports as requested.
  • Creation and maintenance of customer-related files.
  • Assist and train technicians with time entry and other reporting requirements.
  • Assist Project Managers with closeout documents / warranty letters.
  • Booking of Service and Construction Projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 2-4 years experience in an accounting department
  • Personable with excellent customer service
  • Able to communicate effectively with employees of all levels
  • Analytic and detail-oriented
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working in the HVAC Industry
  • Experience working in the skilled labor service industry
