The David C. Frederick Honors College (FHC) at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and oversee the development and execution of all marketing, communications, and branding strategies to enhance the goals of and to drive enrollment and retention of the FHC student body. This senior leadership role will be responsible for shaping the messaging of and managing internal and external communications and ensuring a cohesive and effective marketing approach across all platforms. The Director will work closely the Recruiter for Special Populations to ensure we are promoting the mission, values, and programs of the FHC. This targeted approach is necessary to address the unique needs, interests, and concerns of a new Scholar Cohort within FHC. To effectively market to these groups, the FHC must develop inclusive, empathetic, and tailored marketing strategies.
The successful candidate will have experience in higher education and / or honors education marketing and communications, proven ability to lead, manage and mentor, strong writing and editing skills, excellent written and verbal communications, digital marketing experience, and public relations.
