Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who can turn data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and strategic directions. This role goes beyond traditional BI work — it combines deep analytics, data storytelling, and modern software engineering skills to power data-driven innovation, particularly in the aviation and safety analytics domain.

You'll work on integrating BI insights into existing and emerging data analytics and AI platforms while using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and ArcGIS. If you're equally comfortable visualizing aviation safety data and writing backend services in Java with Spring Boot, this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

• Gather, analyze, and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Design and build advanced dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and ArcGIS.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot to support BI platforms.
• Write optimized queries and manage data pipelines using PostgreSQL and cloud-based tools (AWS or Azure).
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Perform deep-dive analytics to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all BI outputs.
• Contribute to data integration efforts and improve automation of reporting processes.
• Work cross-functionally with data engineers, developers, and business leaders.
• Stay up to date with industry's best practices, tools, and technologies in BI and cloud environments.
