$200,000 Per Year Practicing Half the Month in Bakersfield, CA

Position : Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Employment Type : Full-time and Part-time

Salary : $85 / hour plus OT with Full Benefits and a 401(k)

Bonuses : $10,000 Sign-On and $20,000 Annual Retention

Position Overview :

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners in Bakersfield, CA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time is 12 shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month.
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures : I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment : In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR : VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute
