Position Overview

As an Entry Level Structural Engineer, you will be a part of a growing team that supports all aspects of the construction process by performing innovative design engineering through brainstorming conceptual designs, performing and / or reviewing structural calculations, developing plans, scheduling tasks to meet client needs, as well as mitigating risk to keep our construction crews safe. This role is located in Houston, with the opportunity for flexible work.

Location

This position is based out of our Energy Corridor Office in Houston, TX. Opportunities for flexible work are available.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer. Seeks out more experienced engineer for guidance and expertise.
• Has solid foundation of understanding and ability to use technical knowledge.
• Expand knowledge through training and work experience.
• Learn codes and standards to complete assignments.
• Perform non-routine technical assignments of limited scope.
• Perform tasks according to company procedure industry codes and regulations.
