Housekeeper Inspector Room Attendant

Are you a detail-oriented energetic individual looking for a part-time opportunity with a clear path for growth Sojourn Suites Portland Airport is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Hybrid to join our team for a three-day work week!

This unique position offers a blend of responsibilities : you will focus on inspecting guest rooms two days a week and actively cleaning rooms for one to two days a week ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Current shifts are Thursday through Saturday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM .

Pro Tip : Basic Spanish proficiency is a huge plus for effective team communication and collaboration!

Responsibilities

Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards and keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum

Inspects assigned units each day ensuring that all standards are met and corrective action is taken by attendants as required.

Inspect VIP rooms daily.

Clean hallways lobbies lounges restrooms corridors elevators stairways and locker rooms and other work areas

Strip linens from guest rooms

Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals

Vacuum sweep dust and clean rooms to hotel standards

Refurnish the room with supplies towels etc.

Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Attention to detail

Previous customer service experience

Available to work nights weekends and holidays as needed
