This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or other science-related degree and a minimum of two plus years experience in technical sales and account management experience in the attainment of challenging sales goals; or a combination of education and work experience will also be considered.

Knowledge of water and wastewater processes and equipment applications a plus
Pumping and control systems product knowledge is a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job responsibilities :
Sell products and solutions to customers within a defined established territory
Analyze customers’ requirements and engage in consultative selling with clients
Provide value-added services and products to solve customer problems
Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
Maintain great partner relationships with key manufacturers and vendors to achieve product quotas
Work with Cogent’s service division for layout review, interpretations, and quotation preparation
Work closely with the inside sales team to determine essential strategic approaches for sales at strategic customers
Complete, review, and communicate required internal sales documentation
Identifying target prospects and creating strategic action plans to turn prospects into customers
Balance both time on the road and in the office with some overnight travel
