Job Title : Contracts Administrator

Location : Melbourne, FL (Onsite position, not remote)

Shift : 8 : 00a to 5 : 00p (Mon to Fri)

Pay : $65,000 to $75,000 (DOE)

Required :

  • Currently reside within a commutable distance to our Melbourne, FL campus
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in writing business proposals
  • Previous experience with Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other solicitation documents

Preferred :

  • A BA or BS in Business Administration or related field (not required but preferred).
  • Overview

    A Contracts Administrator assists with development and coordination of compelling, compliant, and well-written proposals to secure new business opportunities. They work with various teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to craft persuasive documents that highlight the company's value proposition while meeting client needs and industry standards. Key responsibilities include researching, writing, editing, and managing the proposal process, ensuring all deadlines are met and proposals are submitted on time and accurately.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Proposal Development : Assists with the management of the entire proposal lifecycle, from initial concept to final submission, including writing, editing, and formatting documents.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Working closely with sales, marketing, subject matter experts, and other teams to gather information, develop content, and ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Research and Analysis : Conducting thorough research to understand client requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensuring all proposals meet client requirements, company standards, and legal regulations.
  • Content Creation and Management : Developing persuasive and compelling content, including text, graphics, and other supporting materials.
  • Project Management : Managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient proposal development.
  • Post-Proposal Activities : Participating in post-proposal reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Excellent Writing and Communication Skills : Strong ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
  • Project Management Skills : Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Research and Analytical Skills : Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Attention to Detail : Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all proposal materials.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with proposal management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Proposal Process : Understanding of best practices and industry standards for proposal development.
