Autonomous Vehicle Operator

Trillium Professional is looking for Autonomous Vehicle Test Operators. As an AVTO you will focus on performing software test planning and execution for the organization's Autonomous Vehicle Technology. As an integral part of the organization, you'll work with both software and hardware engineering teams covering multiple disciplines to provide a quality product.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Driving experience (T1 / T2 certified.) Usually those with previous driving or track experience have a better chance of passing this training. Assigned one or more tasks every day and executing those tasks end-to-end per defined instructions.
• Install software in the vehicle as instructed.
• Execute those test cases in the vehicle with or without Autonomous mode (e.g., ACC, LK, Parking Assist, NCAP, etc.). Tasks will have defined test cases and expected deliverables.
• Collect all issues and feedback from the drive.
• Collect all logs / data from the car / vehicle.
• Upload and report all issues / logs / data to the server.
• You will collaborate with a team of expert engineers encompassing the entire organization's Automotive platform. As such, you should have a track record of working well across organizations.

Looking for candidates who have fulfilled Test Operator roles and have Troubleshooting / Diagnostic Experience and Computer Science backgrounds.

Driving Certification - T1 / T2 Training :

Ideally, candidates should be T1 / T2 certified, but we can submit If a candidate has passed a driving certification and driven on a racetrack at another OEM supplier (Waymo, Tesla, etc.) they will just need to take the T1 training at MB. The B1 / B2 certifications from BMW are similar to the T1 / T2. The driving test is really intense physically and mentally. Candidates will be asked to do "Fast & Furious" type maneuvers with the vehicles : Going 0 to 100 as quickly as possible, slamming on breaks, avoiding objects at high speed, racetrack drifting, etc. We've had previous candidates go practice at racetracks or at least look up T2 YouTube videos so they know exactly what they're getting themselves into.
